Our adventure

We think that with the decision on our consumers' choices we can still make this change in the world for a more sustainable future for our kids. This is also one of the reasons why we want to show especially children how tasty and versatile the seaweed kitchen is. We want them to start eating algae and seaweed at an early age, so that they learn in a playful manner a food conscious lifestyle that helps to put less pressure on our planet.

Throughout our journey we want to teach our children to smell the earth, taste the ocean, chase the wind, watch nature grow, enjoy the peace and quietness of a sunset, learn to take care of themselves and respect others.

They need to understand their own personal needs first in order to be strong enough to help others and make the right consumer choices while getting older.

Our route

Map-New@2x.jpg

We decided to go on an international road trip to learn more about seaweed directly from experts, try more products, learn about the differences and want to document this trip.

We want to find out about regional differences in the use and tradition of seaweed and want to capture this knowledge in pictures and video footage. The final result will be a cooking book and documentary that summarises the highlights of our seaweed journey, in combination with easy recipes that are suitable for families.

The restricted conditions that come along with cooking in a camper for a family of four are a challenge we embrace with joy. And we already know that integrating micro algae and seaweed on a regular basis will boost us with the extra nutrients to keep us strong and happy on that road trip.

Why we’re doing this

We believe the health and environmental benefits of seaweed and algae are a well-kept secret that more people need to understand and make it a part of their everyday life and diet. Moreover, we believe in the power of nutrient dense food for your personal health and performance level and want to share the benefits of this lifestyle with others.

For us the regular consumption of algae and seaweed are the key to that and we want to give clear advice and recipe inspiration on how to use it on a regular basis.
