We will soon be foraging seaweeds again…

Do you know this itchy feeling when something exciting is about to happen? Well, this seaweed adventure journey opens up new dimensions and creates this feeling in us.

We are thankful that the kids are still young enough to be taken out of the standard obligations and can join us on the road and on the other hand we are doing the opposite of everyone else around us with kids. And kids are also kind of conservative so on the one hand they love the excitement about the journey and the homey feeling of the van and on the other hand they have to say good-bye to their friend again. They will only have us as parents and each other on the long road trips and will miss out on the things here in the street we are living at the moment. Are we doing the right thing?

And then I take a look at the pictures when we have been in Denmark last year and the answer is easy and positive and just feels right and luckily friends with a similar mindsets assure us in our plans! It is the either now or never thing and then I am just overly happy to start this seaweed adventure and make the most out of it.

Life is like the ocean. It can be calm or still, and rough or rigid, but in the end it is always beautiful.

I like to look at beautiful things in art, dance or nature and that is also the reason why I liked out old city Bad Homburg v.d.H. so much, because of this beautiful old park where you feel the positive energy of the antique trees and where we had decided to let our children grow up. Now plans and ideas have been crossed and tossed around quite a bit and the idea to chase the beauty with the van. We are so happy to have the opportunity to find out more about the world of seaweed and through that journey we want to more beauty into our own life again and illuminate the life of our partner, friends and kids and everyone who is interested in what we are doing. And I have also learnt that I can only be the best version of myself, when I truly do what I think is the right thing and try to guide our kids the same way. And since I have always been a traveler I am just grateful to combine this passion with my another passion the seaweed kitchen with its nutrient dense superpowers and manifolds possibilities and old traditions.
